Client Success Story — CrossFit Townie

Ten years in, CrossFit Townie throws a tailgate — and the whole town is invited. Here's how Hatch & Fly built the marketing engine behind a decade-strong community gym.

Ten Years Townie Strong

Ten years in, CrossFit Townie throws a tailgate — and the whole town is invited.

CrossFit Townie, also known as Townie Fitness, is celebrating a decade in Thomasville, Georgia. Owner and Head Coach Toni Sisco — a CrossFit Level 2 trainer and HSN Nutrition Coach — built the gym at 109 Wray Street the slow way: one member, one workout, one relationship at a time. The gym marks its tenth year on Friday, October 23, 2026, with a 10-Year Tailgate from 5:00 to 7:00 PM — live music, door prizes, and a kid corner, announced in Coach Toni's own newsletter. That celebration sits at the end of Bring-a-Friend Week, October 19–24, when Townie opens its doors with free classes all week and invites members to fill the floor with the people they love.

A gym that lasts ten years runs on community. CrossFit Townie's marketing has run on the same fuel.

Fractional Leadership, Full-Team Rhythm

Hatch & Fly stepped in as CrossFit Townie's fractional marketing leadership in 2026, with Audrey Copeland directing the engagement from February 25 through July 6. Toni coaches. Her members train. Hatch & Fly built the marketing engine behind them and kept it running on a rhythm the gym could sustain.

The work spanned every channel a community gym needs. Hatch & Fly led content development and website work, creative projects, campaigns, and events, and it built demand generation and automations so interest turned into action instead of evaporating. A team of more than ten independent consultants — designers, writers, and marketing specialists — executed the work under one direction, so Townie's story sounded like one voice everywhere it appeared.

Systems carried the load. Hatch & Fly ran the engagement inside an eight-board Monday.com workspace built for Townie: Content Development & Website, Topics to Discuss, Communications, Creative Projects, Demand Gen + Automations, Events, Campaigns, and Initiatives. Every post, project, and campaign had a home, an owner, and a next step. Nothing lived in somebody's memory or a scattered inbox.

Proof You Can Point To

The Townie system worked so well that it became the blueprint. Hatch & Fly mirrored the CrossFit Townie board structure into four other client workspaces — Colin Alexander Consulting, Coppins Monroe, Seal4Real, and Gulf Coast Painting Consultants of Florida — creating 44 boards from the Townie model. A system built for one Thomasville gym now organizes marketing for businesses across the region.

The storytelling never stopped at the plan. In October 2026, Hatch & Fly's lead walked back through Townie's doors as a member, returning to the 8:30 AM class for Bring-a-Friend Week after two months away. Day one landed on Military Appreciation Day, and the content engine turned the morning into story within hours: a published post, a 58-second recap video, and captions for Facebook and TikTok celebrating Coach Haley's class, a classmate's BELIEVE sweatband, and a simple truth Townie members repeat — iron sharpens iron. The video's end card said it plainly: 10 Years TOWNIE STRONG.

That is the Hatch & Fly difference. The marketer trains here. The strategy comes from inside the community it serves, and the content sounds like real life because it is real life — Coach Toni's newsletter carrying the week, members bringing friends through the door, and a decade of trust doing the heavy lifting no ad can buy.

What Comes Next

CrossFit Townie celebrates its tenth year the way it built all ten: together. The 10-Year Tailgate closes out Bring-a-Friend Week on October 23, and the partnership continues — Toni Sisco comps her marketer's membership while Hatch & Fly keeps marketing the gym, a standing arrangement that keeps the storyteller on the floor where the stories happen.

Ten years strong is a milestone. For Townie, it also reads like a starting line.
